Guidance depends on device location and the route you selected.
See charted depth shading and a shallow-water warning based on your vessel draft and safety margin.
Charted depth is not live depth, and conditions can differ from the chart.
Ask a route question and receive an answer limited to the guidance values HarborAR has already computed; it explains, it does not steer.
The answer can be incomplete or inaccurate, so check it against official charts and onboard instruments.
Night mode reduces interface brightness and shifts operational surfaces toward a restrained red appearance.
Display settings do not change the underlying guidance or shallow-water evaluation.
HarborAR has been field-tested on Biscayne Bay with recorded routes, device telemetry, and reviewed marker observations.
Field-testing supports iteration; it does not certify conditions, routes, or outcomes.
Field sessions compare recorded location, heading, and marker observations with the app’s rendered guidance.
Those sessions find problems and guide revisions; the operator still verifies every voyage against current official information.
