Marine Safety Agreement
One agreement defines the boundary in the app and on the web.
HarborAR is supplemental situational awareness.
It is not a navigation instrument, chartplotter, ECDIS or depth sounder, and it is not a substitute for official charts, onboard instruments, and prudent seamanship.
Charted depth is not live depth.
AI responses may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Verify all navigational information using official charts and onboard instruments, and maintain a proper lookout.
Coverage: US coastal and inland waters where HarborAR has published a region.
Published regions: Chesapeake, Ohio Louisville, South Florida, Tampa Bay. AR channel markers and tide predictions are currently available in the South Florida region.
Drafted routes
HarborAR can draft between supported places inside a downloaded region.
HarborAR can draft a route along published recommended-track geometry derived from NOAA ENC data, joined by bounded connectors it draws and samples against charted depth. Connectors are HarborAR's lines, not channels; no leg is called safe; hazards, bridges, restricted areas, moorings, and tides are not evaluated; nothing is saved until you confirm the route and separately confirm each leg charted too shallow for your boat.
